I too love watching Margaret's reaction. Thanks Geoffy for putting all the video clips together and making it accessible to everyone, and thanks Mark for orchestrating the whole thing.

We love you Mick and Maggie!

A day which shall live in infamy.

I'm just glad no one was hurt by the pyrotechnics or by eating the wax-infused cake.

So fun to see what was going on on the other side of the banner and beyond Matt's big wig and "scary" (in Max's words) skeleton face. Thanks, Jeff, for doing so many of these awesome videos. You've got skillz. Hope this was one of your happiest birthday celebrations yet, Mick and Mags! So glad we were there...

Oh the glory. A day that shall never be forgotten. It was so much fun to be together even for just a few days. Hope all your dreams and wishes came true. Oh by the way, 60 isn't really that old, I mean Adam lived to be 900 and something years, so 60 is only like 1/18 of that. So basically your like two spring chickens in the prime of your lives.

Thanks for being the great parents and examples that you are to Kristen and I. It means the world to us. Can't wait to see what number 70 will bring!

I didn't get to see Mom's reaction live. It was great to see it on video. The music, the fireworks, the strange blonde skeleton, the cake, the friends, the family = Magical.

Well, I have to tell you all that our 60th birthday was very, very special. We had no inkling and that makes it all the more of a shocking surprise. Thanks so much for pulling this off and taking the time and effort to get here. Your mother and I are no happier ever than when we are with our family. Thanks for being so special to us and thinking of us.

Drew, you ain't going to get me on our 70th....you can full us twice but not three times. What....do you think I was born yesterday?

Dad

I'd say the 60th surprise was a rousing success.

Now shhh about the 70th. I'm already planning it. No details yet, but let's just say it may or may not involve a "party monkey" and will require temporary airspace easements from the US Air Force.

It was a genuinely fun undertaking...I laughed uproariously the whole time (and no, not in a mean-spirited way!), and the looks on Mickey & Margaret's faces were well worth it. Cheers!
